This tabla is made of the finest quality seasoned wood and has a head crafted by one of the best makers in Calcutta. We do our best to have a continual supply of drums from Shyamal Das, Mukta Das,  Mridangam and others. Calcutta heads are thinner than Bombay heads, so at their best they have a bell-like tone and long sustain. This price includes a $5 packing fee.
