This is a seasoned Tabla made by Mumbai based Haridas Vhatkar. One of the most respected tabla makers in India, his drums are played by Ustad Zakir Hussain, Pandit Anindo Chatterjee and many great tabla players. He is known for using only the best materials, and for careful worksmanship that results in impeccably tuned heads (pudi). Depending on the size of the shell, the head will be best tuned at anywhere from low G to high E.  Please enquire for current availability. This price includes a $5 packing fee.
